Dear brethren and friends in Christ:
As many of you have already heard, Pastor Martin went home peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior last night at ~6:00 PM. He completed his earthly pilgrimage by the grace of God. We rejoice, knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Cor 5:8). He fought the good fight, finished his course, and kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). He has obtained his "inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven" for him (1 Pet 1:4). Please pray for Pastor Martin's family members as they sorrow at his death and yet rejoice that he is in glory with his Savior.
A memorial service at Trinity Baptist Church is being planned and will likely be in the month of May. Information regarding this service will be given once plans are finalized.
Give thanks and praise to God for His grace which was manifested in Pastor Martin's life even to the time of his death. "For of Him, and through Him, and unto Him, are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen" (Romans 11:36).
